Let's Cancel Holiday Stress..

Are you tired of feeling drained after the holidays? Let's try a different approach...

This season is usually a time when we do more for other people and less for ourselves. This isn't necessarily a bad thing when it's managed correctly but truthfully, how many of us do this well?

Let's strengthen our ability to tune into our needs while spending time with loved ones especially after all of the changes we've gone through this year.

Whether you're at home alone or spending time with family, we all know there are a lot of emotions to manage during the holidays.

Here's some tips to successfully use your time effectively during the holidays:

1. Go for a walk.

Sometimes we just need to step away and enjoy nature for a moment. When we take time to get out and get fresh air in our lungs it allows us to relieve built up stress. Take a 5-10 minute walk to boost your energy and improve your mood.

2. Take a NAP

Listennnn, if you're anything like me you'll get a little moody when running low on energy and being around people. It's okay to take a step back, tune into your spirits' needs, and to get into alignment.

Take. A. Nap!

It's normal to feel like you have to entertain family and friends every moment but people will be okay if you're gone for a little while and everyone, including you, will benefit from your refreshed energy!

3. Enjoy Yourself!

Relieve the pressure and stress by welcoming peaceful, funny, and joyous times. Smile when something brings you joy. Rest when your body calls for it. Set boundaries and make space for what makes you show up as the best version of yourself.

Tis' the season to tune into your needs!

MERRY CHRISTMAS.

Much love.

Briana
