Worthy of Love

In this season I think it's important for us to embrace love and where we're at -financially, physically, emotionally, spiritually etc. I was going to say "fully embrace being loved" but I realized how unrealistic that is (at least in my opinion). How I see it is that God's love is SO extensive that along the journey we attempt to understand how much He loves us and we grow in confidence but it's pretty impossible to fully embrace the depth of His love because our thoughts are not His; Which I love because it keeps the relationship exciting and leaves room to always grow.

Something that's helped me grow deeper is writing out affirmations. I know that everyone is posting about affirmations and we can dismiss it as a cliche but so many people are posting it because IT. REALLY. WORKS!

I believe that God's love is shown through blessings and when we don't feel worthy of expansion, growth, and restoration it shows up in us denying those blessings sent to set us free. I've learned that my love language with God is receiving and surrender. I desire for us to be able to receive in all areas of our lives so we see His abundance.

These affirmations: I am loved, I am worthy and I am worthwhile have been blessings to me. My favorite one out of these is I'm worthwhile. This affirmation touches me on a deep level because I feel the WHOLENESS of it. For me, worthwhile is overtime, never-changing, and a full embrace. YES! I need that and I encourage you to find something that touches you deeply.

As we grow lets remind ourselves that we are worthy of the things that are coming to us!

You are loved, you are important, and you are special. Let's be free and allow positivity and good things to settle in our lives. WORHTY OF THE SETTLE!

So with that, I mean not only allowing good things to come, but allowing them to stay, and welcoming the blessings to take their shoes off and get comfortable with us! It's about letting good things come to us without the fear of the other shoe dropping.
